The 2024 European Football Championship will take place in Germany this year. It promises to be a splashy European championship with France and England taking part. A big football fan? You can follow this sporting event at our campsite on a big screen.
This year, too, the Tour de France will come near Camping Aux Rives du Soleil. On Thursday 4 July, stage 6 will start in Mâcon. The 163-kilometre route heads towards Dijon and thus runs right next to the campsite in Pont-de-Vaux. Will you be watching? Of course, we will also broadcast the rest of the Tour on big screen.
The Tour de Ain is a cycling race that has been held annually in the French department of Ain since 1989. For climbs, the Tour usually diverts to the Jura mountains. The Grand Colombier is the traditional climb of the Tour de Ain. Because of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to be held in France in August 2024, the calendar of French professional races has changed. Hence, the Tour of Ain has been brought forward.
