Once again this year, the Tour de France will come near Camping Aux Rives du Soleil. On July 13, they will ride from Roanne to Belleville-en-Beaujolais. They will come near Juliénas about half an hour away. On July 14, they ride from Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne to Grand Colombier. The start is about a 45-minute drive away. Are you going to watch? The 2023 Women's Soccer World Cup will take place this year in Australia and New Zealand. It promises to be a splashy ninth edition in which the ladies from France will also participate. A big soccer fan? You can follow this sporting event at our campsite on a big screen.

The Tour de Ain is a cycling race that has been held annually in the French department of Ain since 1989. For climbs, the Tour usually diverts to the Jura mountains. The Grand Colombier is the traditional climb of the Tour de Ain. The first stage from Loyettes to La Plaine Tonique is about half an hour away.
