Thanks to its watery location on the Saône and Reyssouze rivers, Camping Aux Rives du Soleil is perfect for fishing. You can cast out your fishing rod right at the water's edge. You may just catch a huge catfish or carp!

A fishing license is easy to arrange via the internet or available at the Tourist Office in Pont-de-Vaux. Will we see you soon at our campsite in France with fishing water?

"If you are reading this piece, you are probably looking for a beautiful campsite in beautiful France. I myself have been coming to Camping Aux Rives du Soleil for many years and will hopefully have many more great times there. We go there mainly for fishing. For every fisherman this is the perfect campsite. Whether you want a family vacation or full on carp and/or catfish fishing, the opportunities are plentiful.

I myself am a very avid carp angler and have experienced wonderful sessions there. The campsite offers the possibility to fish a canal (a tributary of the Saône) and the Saône itself. The tributary, the Reyzousse, is wonderfully beautiful to fish, even if at first glance it doesn't seem like much. The bigger fish often come from this tributary. On the main river, sessions are possible with well over 100 fish in a week. The lock section of the Saône in question holds many fish, with outliers into the 50 pound range. Right next to the campsite is also a night fishing zone where you can take a place as a carp angler on weekends."
